ECOLOG-NET
ECOLOG-NET - this is the ELPRO datalogger family with LAN (or WLAN) communication capabilities. Currently two versions are available, Ecolog-Net LP4 for 4 PT100 sensors and Ecolog-Net LHx for 1or 2 r.H. / T probes. These new dataloggers require a new version of the evaluation software: elproLOG NET. The following document is an instruction how to set up these dataloggers in a LAN environment.

Introduction
To identify a datalogger in a LAN environment, each datalogger gets a unique address. This address is made of 3 different parts, these parts are called: IP Address & Subnet Mask & Default Gateway For the circumstances that ECOLOG-NET dataloggers do not support dynamic addresses, this address has to be entered manually into each datalogger. The handling and creation of such addresses is one of the main tasks of the local system administrator. To avoid any problems for the operation of the dataloggers, the addresses used have to be defined by the local system administrator prior installation!
